My nephew is staying with us for a few days and Kaden has been loving it. They have been kicking field goals, eating snacks, playing video games, taking turns on the longboard, going for ice cream, and enjoying each other's company.

Conrad was treated to an extra day off this week and so we started checking things off our massive summer reno project to-do list....first on the list-stop for fuel (and say hi to Kiandra's friend Chase who was working this morning).

Canada day tradition...ice cream date with the fam! After 3 solid days of rain and grey skies the sun finally peeked out but it still was kind of chilly and we decided, for the first time in a few years, to go home after ice cream instead of heading out to the fireworks.
